Tourism Innovation Lab
We are a software house that creates innovative solutions for the tourism market.
We were born from the twenty-year experience of Green Consulting, a specialised web agency that helps hoteliers to develop their online presence. We are the meeting point between tourism and digital: two worlds in continuous evolution that know how to make the most of each other.
We want to encourage more authentic relationships, putting tourists in direct contact with the accommodation facilities and the territories in which they are located, generating greater value for all. Our tools aim at disintermediation from the large companies that dominate the market.
We develop with a mobile first approach and create simple interfaces that can be used by everyone, to accompany the tourist in every stage of their journey, from booking to the hotel room. Whenever possible, we go for solutions that require no downloads.
Paolo Mandrelli
25 years of experience in web projects for the promotion and commercialization of destinations and hospitality facilities. In 1998, he created the first incoming tourism portal for the Umbria region.
Founder and managing director of Green Consulting S.r.l., a company specialized in digital marketing for tourism and software application development with an international clientele, through which he founded several tech-tourism startups, including Ombrellone.it S.r.l. and Tourism Innovation Lab S.r.l.
He has also been a partner and manager in hotel consultancy and tour operating companies, both incoming and outgoing.
He is a licensed travel agency technical director. In 2019, he was invited to join the working group for the development plan of the Ciclovia del Sole cycle route (Verona – Florence section). He is a member of the board of directors of DIT, the consortium company of tourism operators in the Terni area, among other institutional collaborations in the Umbria region.
Gabriele Maddaloni
Graduated in 2019 with a BSc in Games Development from Glasgow Caledonian University, he has been working in the programming sector since 2007.
He has also gained academic experience as an assistant for the courses “Human Computer Interactions,” “Game Design,” and “Fundamentals of Computing” at Glasgow Caledonian University, as well as serving as a Computer Science Professor at Hunan University for Arts and Science in Changde, China.
Leonardo Miliacca
Graduated in Communication Sciences, with 15 years of experience in full-stack and mobile development, he specializes in cutting-edge technologies such as TypeScript, Angular, React, NestJS, and cross-platform development tools.
Skilled in making applications user-friendly for end clients, he has successfully developed applications for high-profile clients such as Intesa Sanpaolo, Unical/Unicem, among others, collaborating with companies like Accenture Italy, SolarEdge, AllYou SRL, and many more.
Fluent in Italian, English, and French.
Silvia Ferretti
Graduated in Law, she started her career in sales first as a branch manager and later in a multinational company specializing in B2B consumable distribution.
She later moved into digital marketing after joining Green Consulting, where she currently works in the Sales and Customer Care department. In the Ombrellone project, she is responsible for onboarding and customer care activities for both B2B and B2C clients.
Luca Cruccolini
Expert in web marketing and web development, with over a decade of experience in national-level web marketing projects.
He is currently part of the Digital Marketing department across various projects.
